A doughnut shop that was founded by four brothers who are passionate about providing customers fresh handcrafted goods that are free of improvers, preservatives and artificial flavours. They believe in doughnuts that are just simple, relying solely on the quality of the ingredients and traditional techniques to amplify the flavour, texture and consistency.
The purpose of the website is simple - it's to enable customers to buy doughnuts easily and get them delivered. The purchase flow is the core functionality, but the brothers also wanted to amplify the fun aspects of doughnuts.
Working closely with the client we decided to keep the website functionality simple with a focus on the purchase flow and the heavy lifting provided by the visual treatment. The brainstorming and exploration revolved around the visual treatment and played around with various visuals - colours, 3D assets, photography and iconography.
A playful website that heroes the product through the main visuals and interaction design.
